Pear and ginger chutney 

 
Ingredients: 

1.5kg pears (peeled, cored and chopped)

500g onions (peeled and chopped)

1 lemon ( zest and juice)

125g raisins

250g sugar

1/2 tsp ground cloves

1tbsp ground ginger

300ml cider vinegar

Method:

Put all the ingredients in a large pan and simmer until soft and thick.

Put in sterilized jars and leave for a couple of months to mature.
